Welcome Back, Volunteers!
Volunteers are essential to the operation of all the programs of Southwest Christian Care. They have returned to serving in person, taking all COVID-19 safety precautions, including wearing masks.
We are grateful for over 14,000 service hours our 300+ volunteers provided in 2019.
At Hospice they maintain the front desk by answering phones, directing traffic, cleaning our kitchen and serving our families. At Hope House and Ms. Gussies’ Place, volunteers love, educate and encourage our special children. Our Senior Care Volunteers offer friendship, laughter and comradery to our participants, while Mary Ruth’s Corner volunteers help them find the perfect, affordable gift. We also have volunteers who help with all fundraising events and special projects, such as decorating the campus for Christmas.
